'Blazing Star'

After the best part of 18 months in the making, the complete rig for the 60' John Alden yawl 'Blazing Star' was finished and shipped to Gweek Quay in Cornwall to be united with the beautifully restored yacht.
New apprentice joins Collars
With the need to meet demand Collars have taken on a young apprentice to work along aside Lee in the finishing shop shaping spars and oars. Having seen many applicants for the position over the last few months, Mariusz Pamula has accepted the role and joined the Collar team on 21st November.
St. Enodoc's Flag Pole
Over the last few years, flag poles have become regular work with more customers than before requiring replacement wooden poles.
International 6-Metre - Silène III
Collars are well underway in manufacturing a new mast, boom and spinnaker poles for the classic 6 meter yacht ‘Silene III.

1920's Gaff Ketch 'Patna'
An interesting project going through our workshop is the complete rig for a 1920's built gaff ketch 'Patna'.
