The Collars Skiff
A recreational rowing skiff sporty enough to maintain fitness levels on the water combined with enough space to seat a passenger, picnic hamper and champagne!
The Collars Skiff originated from the Hamble River where she was well suited to ferrying passengers and goods up and down the tidal reaches. At 16' overall coupled with her slender beam of 3'6" provides a perfect all rounder. Moulded today in hand laminated GRP, the versatile interior layout allows for a traditional sliding seat, riggers and gates, just as you would find in a single scull, but coupled with a stability that allows it to be used as a training craft or a pleasure boat for enjoying our rivers and estuaries at your leisure.
The Collars Skiff is finished with oiled iroko gunnels and includes a pair of our handcrafted spruce skiff sculls to complete the picture. There is a range of options to choose from including a backrest, trailer, and even the choice between sliding and fixed seat rowing, so whatever your needs we're sure the Collars Skiff will provide the answer.
